MARINAS
A number of marinas and boatyards dot the four-county Cape Fear Coast. The vast majority of these are located along or adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway, or on rivers and streams connecting to the waterway. The following list, although not complete, is representative of facilities available for boaters and ranges from north to south. Facilities that are for the exclusive use of a private community or its guests are not listed.
In a few instances, the address shown reflects a mailing address rather than a physical location. For maps and detailed, candid information on all these marinas, pick up a copy of native North Carolinian Claiborne Young's Cruising Guide to Coastal North Carolina. Most of the marinas are listed and pinpointed on the North Carolina Coastal Boating Guide map available on the Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry, at local boating stores and by calling (877) 368-4968.
